Nylon Fusion Theatre Company is staging a highly intimate revival of Tracy Letts’ darkly comic play Linda Vista.

The Staging & Scale
While the original 2017 Steppenwolf and 2019 Broadway productions played in much larger commercial venues, Nylon Fusion is scaling the show down into an incredibly tight 78-seat house. This environmental choice explicitly places the audience at “arm’s length” from the main character’s downward spiral and complex entanglements, magnifying the emotional stakes and raw vulnerability of the script.
Mature Themes and Content
Because Linda Vista explicitly deals with a midlife crisis, reckless dating, and realistic, tragicomic mature scenes, the script dictates adult situations and nudity. In the 2019 Broadway production, the character of Wheeler had full frontal nudity. Because Nylon Fusion is staging the play verbatim in a tiny, 78-seat theater, these performance elements land with intense, immediate proximity to the audience.
