The Pilobouls show at Joyce Theater titled Re: Creation, Program B MEMORY has a full frontal nudity waning. I can’t find any reviews or info which performance has nudity or if it is a male or female full frontal nudity. But based on the program info, TALES OF THE UNDERGROUND has an asyerisk after it so I’m guessing the nudity is there. Any info from our readers are welcome.
From the press release:
The physically daring Pilobolus returns with re:CREATION, a dynamic collection of works from its over 50-year legacy. Featuring two specially curated programs, Dreams and Memory, the company transports audiences into surreal worlds inhabited by otherworldly characters and fantastical visions. An odyssey of reinvention, re:CREATION presents timeless Pilobolus pieces, celebrated for their enduring impact in dance and theater, alongside two NYC premieres of new works that continue to astonish and captivate.
The nudity is at the beginning, in UNTITLED
Thanks!
Did you find any shows in the future calendar in the various stages?
How long does the nudity last? Are they nude while dancing, or is there dialog / acting, too?
Is it worth going to
yes! connor chaparro (cut) and quincy ellis (uncut) in their full glory for all of “untitled.”
Curious if anyone saw this and can tell me if they guy in the photo above (Jacob Michael Warren) was naked in it.
He is not, he is not part of the current company as far as I know.
Who is part of the current company or alum?
