Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses in Gallery Players

From the press release:

What does it mean to be human? How do we understand our place in the world? What does it mean to truly change? These are the questions posed in this sensational, Tony-winning play. Taking inspiration from Ovid’s famous tales, Mary Zimmerman adapts ancient myths into modern day stories using contemporary language, delightful humor, and breathtaking moments of sincerity. Filled with theatrical magic, Metamorphoses promises epic stories that change everything, perhaps even you.inar dapibus leo.

I wonder if this staging by Gallery Players will have male nudity.  I remember that the character of Eros has full frontal nudity in so many of the stagings of this play. Does anyone have info?

  1. In Philly, a fantastic new play called Nosejob, by Lightning Rod Special, has 2 nude scenes, where Matteo Scammell’s pants were pulled to his ankles. We only got to see his butt, but if you sit in the far right corner of the front row, you might be able to catch a peek of his front. The play is great! Highly recommend.
