The Broadway revival of Art, the Tony-winning play by Yasmina Reza officially opened last September 16. Bobby Cannavale, James Corden and Neil Patrick Harris topbills. Originally staged in New York in 1998, the trio play as longtime pals who have a near falling-out after one of them purchases a painting that doesn’t necessarily satisfy the others’ artistic tastes.
It was widely praised back then. Now on its return — has a 17-week run at the Music Box Theatre.
And I’m grateful for Bobby and Neil Patrick for sharing with us their glorious bodies on screen. They had no qualms with nudity and I love them for it.
And they are both great actors as well.
The revival will close on Dec.21 as it is only a limited run.
